Our story begins in 1993 in a terraced house in Walsall with a Training & Enterprise grant and a Nat West Business Development Loan.
Philippa Smart had, and still has, a passion for effective design and brand and was keen to make sure that clients were really looked after, never had to chase, always got their brilliant creative work on time and were thrilled beyond all recognition with their design work, so much so they uttered the much sought after words of ‘wow!’. This is still true today. The culture was fun and lively and the hours were long but we loved it.
In 2001 we started working in the social housing sector with Orbit Group and started to understand and really get to grips with how the sector works with supported housing, social housing and shared ownership.
In 2003 we moved out of Walsall to the beautiful converted church at Gailey that we’re still in today and it feels as if this amazing building lives and breathes with us. We adore the building which was built in 1876 as part of the Rodbaston Estate and it is a large part of our own brand and marketing.
When good just won’t do
Our mission is creative greatness
Authentic to the core
A real business helping real clients with real challenges
We’re bold, brave and smart
Approaching projects with confidence and pushing boundaries
We question the norm
Always exploring, innovating and breathing life into the ordinary
We’re unconditionally supportive
Going out of our way to be friendly, generous and considerate to everyone we collaborate with
Over the years we’ve worked with many social housing providers and understand the sector extremely well. From ESG reports, annual reports, employee engagement, tenant communications or ad campaigns, we’ve done it all in that time. The key to a successful project is really digging deep to understand what the real challenge is so we can solve it effectively. We help make the brief not just take the brief.
